概要 | Thus, we have presented a practical solvent-free synthesis of O-trimethyl-α-cyclodextrin-poly(ethylene glycol) pseudopolyrotaxane and its fixation to polyrotaxane with 4-tritylphenyl isocyanate (the evidence for the formation of the pseudopolyrotaxane), both of which are accomplished by the simple grinding of a solid mixt. This work provides a general protocol for the solvent-free synthesis of interlocked compds. The reason that the pseudopolyrotaxane formation is tremendously accelerated in such a heterogeneous system by grinding might be attributed to the effective and intimate solid-solid contact under a microenvironment generated by press grinding, whereas the occurrence of a mechanochem. reaction in a solid-state reaction is known. |
