概要 | The increasing number of women in the workforce has made traditional gender roles outdated. As a result, it has become essential for both men and women to balance work and family responsibilities. Companies are now introducing family-friendly benefits and policies, and more studies are being conducted to understand the impact of these measures on work-family conflict and employee retention. A recent study in Japan explored how supportive workplace policies affect turnover intention through work-family conflict. The findings showed that while direct and indirect effects were not significant, the link between work-family conflict and turnover intention was significant. The implications of these findings and future research directions are discussed. |
