概要 | Precast prestressed (PCaPS) concrete beams using unbonded prestressed concrete (PC) bars are damaged only at their joints during an earthquake and are easily repaired. When a PCaPS concrete beam deforms under an antisymmetric bending moment, it tends to extend geometrically, and the compressive force increases. As the compressive force increases, so do the bending strength and the shear force acting on the member. For shear design, it is necessary to evaluate the increase in axial force accompanying the deformation. In this paper, the increase of axial force considering geometrical elongation is evaluated by a simple macro model for a PCaPS concrete beam with parallel-positioned PC bars. Experimental results can be simulated by the proposed evaluation formula for the shear design of an unbonded PCaPS concrete beam with linearly arranged PC bars. |
