| 概要 | This paper reviews the history of Faculty Development (FD), Staff Development (SD), and Professional Development (PD) in Japan over the past 10 years, based on the work of the Training and Exchange Support Division(renamed the Training and Exchange Support Project in 2020).
I authored Chapter 1 in this paper.Chapter 1 presents the background to FD activities becoming compulsory in Japan (pp.639-640). The beginning of activities in Japan, the Inter-University Seminar House (IUSH) and the Society for General Education (now the Association for University Education) provided a forum for university officials to begin discussions. |
