概要 | Hydrogen is a versatile energy carrier that can release energy through a number of different processes such as direct combustion, catalytic combustion, steam produc- tion, and fuel cell operations. In terms of environmental impact, hydrogen may be the best alternative to fossil fuels because it drastically reduces the release of climate-changing gases and compounds harmful to human health. Photobiological hydrogen production is an attractive option to generating hydrogen by photoautotrophic organisms from sunlight and water. This process is most effective and important for avoiding using fossil fuel. |
