概要	The title compd. (I) was polymd. by selectively opening the ring at the enolic site to give linear sol. polyether-polyketone at ambient temp. using CF3SO3H in the presence of PhSMe as the nucleophile. In the absence of PhSMe, I gave only crosslinked polymer when polymd. by CF3SO3H or CH3SO3H. CH3SO3H did not polymerize I in the presence of PhSMe at ambient temp., although it was an effective catalyst for producing linear polymer when used alone at -78°.
