概要 The flow of water and air in sanitary fixtures and drainage pipes has been analyzed using full-scale experiments because it is difficult to apply model rules. Further knowledge is required for the optimal design of drainage facilities, and in addition to experiments, analysis by computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation is required. CFD simulation by the particle-based method and the volume of fluid (VOF) method has been used so far, but it is necessary to study further to produce the optimum design.
In this paper, experimental results on drainage characteristics of a drainage system with a basin, S-trap, and drainage horizontal branch pipe are used to compare and verify the results with those of the CFD analysis.
