| 概要 | Queer Transfigurations will be the first academic book in English focused on BL media across Asia. The nineteen core chapters are focused on ten countries in East, Southeast, and South Asia (China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam) and cover an additional three (Australia, Japan, and Malaysia) in transregional chapters. Collectively they examine various forms of BL media, BL fandoms, and BL's cultural impact around Asia from multiple field and disciplinary perspectives. |
