概要	One-pot oxidn. polymn. of dithiols of bifunctional five-membered cyclic dithiocarbonates with two equiv. of amines, was carried out. The dithiol monomers were synthesized by the reactions of bisphenol A diglycidyl ether and neopentyl glycol diglycidyl ether with carbon disulfide, resp. Polydisulfides with av. mol. wt. Mns 4600-20,200 were obtained quant. from the bisphenol A diglycidyl ether dithiol prepd. in situ by reaction with benzylamine, n-butylamine, or piperidine, followed by oxidn. polymn. On the other hand, dithiols obtained from neopentyl glycol diglycidyl ether with benzylamine, afforded cyclic disulfides and the polysulfide under similar conditions.
