概要	In this paper, we propose a capacity planning method and a tool, developed with an engineering consulting company that can be used to support the demand-to supply management in the pharmaceutical industry. The method synthesizes an initial manufacturing process structure and the capacity of each process unit based on the demand forecast and candidate equipment specifications at the first step. Then it improves the process structure in a step-by-step fashion at the second step. We show the effectiveness of the developed method and the tool through a case study.
