概要	A chiral crown ether (I) was synthesized from (R)-1,1'-bi-2-naphthol and triethylene glycol ditosylate. Chiral rotaxanes were prepd. by end-capping of pseudorotaxanes consisting of I and secondary ammonium salts. RCH2NH(CH2)3OH.HPF6 [R = 9-anthryl] formed a stable pseudorotaxane. Chiral induction was obsd. during end-capping by radical conjugate addn. of a bulky thiol to the pseudorotaxane of RCH2NH(CH2)3O2CCMe:CH2.HPF6 [R = 3,5-(Me3C)2C6H3].
