概要 | A method and a mathematical model to design a competitive joint venture formation in consideration of the cost and risk reduction by the complementary effects among joint venture partners, are developed. In the design method, the 2D-WBS is used to structure project data of each partner organizing the joint venture formation. Such data consist of the project cost, the amount of resources, and so on, for carrying out the work packages by each partner. The design method uses a mathematical model to identify the joint venture formation that minimizes the variance of the estimated project costs under the constraints of the expected project costs. The effectiveness of the design method is demonstrated via simulation experiments using a model of competitive bidding, where the bid price is determined based on the estimated project costs and the volume of orders accepted by the joint venture. |
