概要 | In this paper, a coupled system of two parabolic equations, subject
to the homogeneous Neumann boundary conditions and initial conditions, is considered as a one-dimensional version of the phase field system of grain boundary motion proposed by Kobayashi-Warren-Carter [20,21]. The system presented includes some non-standard situations, and these non-standard situations come from a weighted total variation constructed from the governing free energy. The main objective of this paper is to define a solution to our system which is valid for the focused non-standard situations. This objective is achieved by proving the Main Theorem, which is concerned with the existence of solutions to our system. |
