概要	This paper reviews previous studies on the typology of logistics strategy. From these studies, we confirm that a common framework exists regarding the typology of logistics strategy. The framework consists of two strategic orientations, cost efficiency and customer responsiveness. However, those findings are derived from studies conducted toward firms in mature markets such as Europe and the United States. Those studies have paid little attention to logistics strategies in emerging markets. Through our pilot and field-based studies, we determined that the common framework addressed in previous studies was not suitable for emerging markets.
