|概要||We consider a model of grain
boundary motion with constraint and this work was motivated by papers [14,15] due to
R. Kobayashi, J.A. Warren and W.C. Carter in which they proposed a two
dimensional phase-field system as a mathematical model
describing the grain boundary motion and gave some numerical experiments
on its large-time behavior.
In this paper we discuss it from the theoretical point of view, showing the convergence
of the free energy functionals as time goes to infinity along the global (in time) solutions to our
phase-field system of Kobayashi-Warren-Carter type. Moreover we
establish a result on the large-time behavior of solutions to our model.
