| 概要 | This study concerns the decrease in overseas travel among Japanese young adults and positions the phenomenon as an issue of generic travel decisions, that is, travel or non-travel decisions. Based on the leisure constraints research, a dynamic feedback model of overseas travel frequency is proposed that consists of fourteen hypotheses. Empirical testing supports most of the hypotheses and the overall model. The study findings reveal the complex and dynamic nature of generic travel decisions through the workings of multiple components of the model, such as self-efficacy, evaluation of overseas travel and negotiation effort and rather than just motivation and constraints. |
