| 概要 | This paper explored ways to enhance the positive impacts and to diminish the negative impacts of tourism on a less developed destination using Luang Prabang as the case. Community-based tourism development (CBTD) was explored to increase the benefits and reduce the costs of being a global tourist destination. The importance of both vertical and horizontal collaboration among stakeholders from government to local residents in CBTD was discussed. |
