概要 | Fluoropolymers (FPs) are exceptional materials with outstanding properties to ensure optimal performance in many critical applications. These specialty polymers are essential to achieving key European Union policy objectives like Green Deal, Carbon Neutrality, e-Mobility and the Chemical Strategy of Sustainability. The recycling for virgin FPs (e.g. PTFE) waste or scraps generated in the production has already been achieved
by Daikin Company in commercial scale and by Dyneon Company on a pilotscale. More recent studies on the mineralization of FPs into fluoride anions, under subcritical water, the anions reacting with Calcium to lead to CaF2 as the starting materials on the Fluorine Chemistry. All these technologies are summarized and discussed. |
