概要	The COVID-19 pandemic underscored the economic importance of Japan's tourism and hospitality sector, while also drawing attention to its environmental impact. This study aims to reduce the sector's ecological footprint by encouraging environmentally responsible tourist behaviour. Employing quantitative methods, including surveys and field experiments, it evaluates the effectiveness of theory-based interventions. The research contributes both theoretically and practically by promoting sustainability in the sector, offering insights into behaviour change, proposing waste-reduction strategies, and supporting cost-efficient resource use. It also aids in establishing a sustainable destination brand and long-term adoption of environmentally friendly business practices.
