| 概要 | Tourism is seen as a key strategy for Japan's economic revitalisation amid demographic challenges. Mega-events, such as the 2025 World Expo in Osaka, are part of this effort. While previous research has focused on host-city residents, this study explores non-host-city residents' attitudes, specifically students in Tokyo and Kanagawa. Survey data from 272 participants reveal mixed views: over half expect positive impacts to outweigh negatives, yet interest and support for the Expo are moderate. Open-ended responses highlight perceived benefits and concerns, including possible tourism decline in Kanto. Findings are limited by sample scope, suggesting the need for broader research. |
