概要 | Owing to their high chemical and thermal stability, fluoropolymers are used in a variety of industrial equipments. Among them, poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF) has been used for various applications including coatings, chemical and electrical, and especially energy-related materials. For the use of fluoropolymers with high sustainability, the establishment of waste treatment technique should be required.We report herein an effective method for almost complete mineralization of PVDF and related copolymers in subcritical water (SubCW) at relatively low temperature (~300 ºC) by use of H2O2. |
