概要	At the 2022 federal election, much attention has been paid towards independent candidates, especially called variously as "Teals", "Voices" or Community Independent candidates many of whom are women standing for inner metropolitan electorates previously regarded as safe Liberal seats. This paper is going to examine their performances at the election held on 21 May and consider its implication to the Australian party system.
