概要 | Ionic liquids (ILs) have been investigated for green chemistry applications such as solvents and co-catalysts. Furthermore, there has been increasing interest in their electrochemical applications, mainly as electrolytes that are safer than organic solvents. In particular, fluorinated ILs are introduced in many electrochemical devices.Herein an effective method for complete decomposition of room-temperature ILs, [Me3PrN][(CF3SO2)2N] and [C3mpip][(CF3SO2)2N] (C3mpip = 1-methyl-1-propylpiperidium ion), in subcritical water at lower temperature (~300 ºC) in the presence of KMnO4 is presented. |
