概要 The effectiveness of a learning assignment called "Listening Journal," which was introduced in a university class with the aim of cultivating an attitude of self-directed learning among learners, was examined. In this assignment, students themselves selected listening materials and how to use them outside of class, and wrote about their learning experiences in a journal. It was observed that students became more aware of the learning resources around them and began to shift to a more active and reflective attitude toward learning through this assignment.
