| 概要 | This paper investigated the influence of tourism and hospitality (T&H) education on students’ career intentions in Japan’s T&H industry. 81 students studying at a two-year Japanese college were surveyed. The results indicated that T&H lecturers should try to interest students who have no specific T&H career intentions in the T&H industry as “their second or third career option.” In addition, current T&H work information such as salary and working conditions should be included in T&H lectures. This would help students with T&H career intentions seek appropriate employment opportunities. |
